photo graphic evidence from the workshop from setting up the PA sytstem.
we did a basic set up and made sure that all the heaklth and saftey regulations were put in place and that everything was set up correctly, following the instructions on the sheet. we got it working and the sound level working great , the panning was good and we also added some rever and effects onto the guitar and onto the vocals. after that we packed down and put away, also done safley.

- monitoring = with microphone monitoring you can get different headsets that you can monitor. Turtle Beach headsets have a Mic Monitor feature that allows you to hear your own voice from within the headset. This is great for helping to avoid the feeling of needing to shout for other people to hear you. this is the same for recording studios. you can use this to speek to the people in the control room while also being able to hear yourself clearly, so you will not have to shout for the other people to hear you.

here is an example of a head set with a built in mic, that you can use the little switch shown on the side to monitor. this will set the volume of in which you can hear your own voice. however now a days we just use the headphones and a seperate microhpone to speek to the people/person in the control room. It is just alot easier and simpler that getting a headset that you can also talk through a microphone in. Has good features like making sure you can hear yourself while talking to the other person but you can also do that with the head set and microphone if they are seperate.
monitering is also used when you are checking the levels coming through from a microphone. for example you will check the level on the mixing desk while working with live sound. This ensure that everything is at the right level rather than the guitar being louder than the vocal. you willl also use this while recording in the studio. this is so that everything is balanced out.
