Winter Is Over Gig

Hey Guys,

This is just an update of what I have been doing after the week half term that I had. And I am sure that everyone else had a half term too. Well those of you that are in school and college. As many of you may know I am in my last year of college.

Tuesday the 23rd of February I did a gig for one of my friends that wants to go on to do events management and live sound. She organised this gig to help her gain knowledge and confidence while doing what she wants to go onto do. So she got together some performers and made it happen.

I performed at the gig and this is a photo of me performing for her gig. Unfortunately I have not been able to get a video of me performing. I would have really been happy if I could but I had to have my phone for performance purposes, and that is what I record all of my videos on. It’s just most convenient for me. So unfortunately I did not get any footage of me performing but for my performance I covered one of my favourite songs to perform. This is called crash by an Australian artist known as Jamie Mcdell.

I don’t know if many of you have heard of her but you should defiantly check her out. She is my idol and I was inspired in my first year of college by her. This is how I began writing two to three songs a day and then edited them and recorded them. I was able to find inspiration from anything. Which is something I was not able to do before.

So that is all I had to say.

I am disappointed that I couldn’t get any footage from my performance but it’s okay, many more opportunities. Maybe I’ll do a home recording.
