These hotos above shows the distance that you will ahve to work out between the speakers and this then also helps you to determin how much delay to use.
The D/(devidedby) S + T . This means distance devided by speed of sound will give you the time it takes. so you will then use this imformation to add delay so that this will make sure hta there is no delay.
Delay Towers
When performing live whether it be in a big venue arena or just a medium sized venue, you may experience some feedback/delay. This is because the signal may take longer to get to other monitors/speakers that others. Plus this would also happen depending on where you would be standing in the room.
This all has to do with the speed of sound too. This is because if you are stood further away from one speaker than the other and they both Amit the same noise at the same time, one sound from the speaker closer will take less time to travel to your ear than the speaker further away from you.
So to fix this problem you will have to set a delay time, in order for it to seem like all speakers are in sync and get no delay.
